Why we gather

Community Does Not Happen by Accident

It happens when neighbors decide to show up for one another. Harvest Fest at The McCray started with a simple conviction: the Westside already holds everything it needs. The talent, the businesses, the growers, the storytellers, the families who look out for each other.

What it needs is a place and a reason to come together. So we made one — an afternoon on Hollowell Parkway where the food is homegrown, the music is local, and the businesses on the block get the spotlight they have earned.

This is the first edition of an annual tradition. What we plant this year is meant to be tended, season after season, by the community that shows up for it.

01

Neighbors first

A Saturday where the people who live here are the people in the room — no gatekeeping, no strangers for long.

02

Local business, front and center

Westside growers, cooks, makers and merchants get a real audience and a real sales day.

03

A tradition built to last
